New Property Owners Find Human Remains During Arlington Walk-Through: Police

And that's exactly what happened to an unfortunate new home owner in Arlington.

During a walk-through of a property on the 1300 block of N. Taylor Street, the new property owners came upon human remains around 4:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, Arlington County police said.

"The Arlington County Police Department is conducting a death investigation with assistance by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner who will work to positively identify the deceased and determine cause and manner of death," police said.

"Police remain on scene investigating and the preliminary investigation has not revealed an immediate threat to the community."
